How We're Different
A visit to the Emergency Department does not have to be frustrating. At MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, we feel that three things set our Emergency Services Department apart:
- We use a team approach to caring for patients. Our Emergency Medical Team is experienced and work together every day. Every member of the staff collaborates to evaluate and treat patients as quickly as possible.
- We have high customer satisfaction rates. Our customer service surveys come back with very high scores, and we consistently work to improve patient care.
- Our MedStar affiliation means that we can easily transfer patients if they require services from other medical centers. If necessary, the renowned MedSTAR Transport Service provides helicopter and ground transport for critical care patients to tertiary treatment centers with advanced, specialized care.
