About the Foundation
The MGH Health Foundation was established in 1980 to raise funds for MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. Since then, philanthropy has grown throughout our hospital and local community.
What is “philanthropy”?
Philanthropy is the act of charitable giving to help increase the well-being of others.
Our Mission:
The MGH Health Foundation provides funds to MedStar Montgomery Medical Center to purchase equipment, support programs, and maintain facilities. These funds, generated through community philanthropy, help to ensure the availability of quality medical care to you and your neighbors.
Thanks to your generous donations, we are able to continue to improve our services and ensure the comfort of our patients at MedStar Montgomery.
