Pre-Employment Instructions

When offered a position at MedStar Montgomery, you will receive an offer letter with a link directing you to complete new hire paperwork which will be submitted directly to Human Resources (HR) online. Please complete this paperwork prior to reporting for your health screening. Your paperwork will be ready in HR for you to sign when you come in for your pre-employment health screening. Please bring documentation required for the Department of Homeland Security I-9 Form, which documents you are authorized to work in the United States. If required by your position, please bring licenses, certifications, transcripts and/or HS diploma/degree. 

Ordering Uniforms

Please check with your supervisor to the uniform requirements for your department. The color-coded uniform policy at MedStar Montgomery requires direct care providers to wear specifically designated colors, making it easier for patients to identify their caregiver's role in their care. The uniform colors are as follows:

Registered Nurses-Navy Blue
Nurse Technicians-Teal
Ancillary Professionals-Burgundy
Ancillary Assistants-Gray
Unit Assistants-Sage

You are not required to purchase your uniform from a specific vendor, however we recommend using Standard Textile

The hospital provides uniforms to associates who work in the following areas: Environmental Services, Maternal Newborn Center, Nutritional Services and Perioperative services.
