Building the Future of Cancer Care: The New Oncology Pavilion at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center
MedStar Montgomery Medical Center, in partnership with the excellent and compassionate caregivers at MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute, is proud to provide a comprehensive range of oncology services to patients in our community such as surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation, to name a few.
As we look to the future, MedStar Montgomery will launch a renovation and expansion project that will transform the oncology center’s external environment, as well as enhance the footprint of our internal space to optimize access for the patients and families we serve.
The new Oncology Pavilion will encompass an entire continuum of care—from easily accessible patient parking, a graceful new building façade, improved patient rooms, and new welcoming lobby. The new Oncology Pavilion will also centralize all medical services within the current Helen P. Denit Cancer Center and the Shirley A. Smith Infusion Center.
This new pavilion for oncology care will house cutting-edge collaboration between top doctors and nurses at MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute and MedStar Montgomery caregivers our community hospital has trusted with their health for decades. All of the enhancements will serve to reflect our unified approach to cancer care while inspiring our community with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
To accomplish our goal, MedStar Montgomery seeks philanthropic support to fund the $3 million investment for capital improvements, equipment, and patient programs.
We invite you to partner with us in this transformative campaign and support the new Oncology Pavilion Campaign at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.
